Remuneration: £30,000 – £45,000 (depending on your experience) + 3% of uncapped commission circa £15,000 additional first year

The role of the Specification / Area Sales Manager – Roofing / Waterproofing Systems will involve:
- Specification field sales position, selling a large comprehensive range of roofing & waterproofing systems such as green roofs, single ply, rooflights, structural waterproofing, waterproofing membranes and cold liquid applied roofing
- The majority of your time will be focused on generating specifications via architects, specifiers and surveyors
- The remaining portion of your time will be spent protecting your specifications / selling direct to through via main contractors and roofing contractors
- Dealing with order values ranging from £2k – £1m with a typical order of £100 – £200k
- Once up and running will be required to build the territory up to circa £500k – £750k
- Targeting both commercial and residential market sectors new build and refurbishment projects
- Focus on refurbishment projects
- Initially shadowing and working alongside the regional technical sales manager learning specification / sales skills alongside picking up product knowledge
The ideal applicant will be a Specification / Area Sales Manager – Roofing / Waterproofing Systems with:
- Must have construction sales experience
- Would consider someone working within a branch
- Would consider someone more junior or working in internal sales
- Would also consider someone from an architectural, surveyor or contractor background
- Ideally for the roofing / flat roofing industry (not essential)
- Must have a strong technical mind set i.e. capable of selling on a technical solution and product
- Excellent attributes to be successful in sales – excellent communication skills, personable and likeable character
- Ambitious, hungry and loyal
- Articulate, intelligent and self motivated
