Job description: Our client is a leading hospitality group opening a Latino fine dining concept in Dubai is looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join their team:
Key Requirements:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient operations
- Train, mentor and manage restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
- Maintain a high level of service and ensure adherence to established restaurant standards, policies and procedures
- Manage inventory, ordering and cost control measures to optimize financial performance
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business
- Assist with menu development and ensure adherence to established culinary standards
- Coordinate and manage private events and special occasions, ensuring seamless execution
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations
What we are looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-end restaurant environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Fluent in Spanish (both oral and written)
- Open to candidates from overseas
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, ordering and cost control measures
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- A passion for hospitality, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
