Your Responsibilities

  • Independently manage animal accounts in assigned territories from lead generation and CRM entry to shipping and follow up.
  • Work within Salesforce to coordinate and manage all leads and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal support teams for the management of new opportunities and current orders.
  • Responsibility for closing sales with new and current customers for orders, adding additional products and line extensions.
  • Support internal positions in the management of customer pipeline through lead and contact relationship management systems
  • Perform outbound sales calls and follow up on/manage newly generated leads within the territory.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Regulatory and Legal teams to develop sales aids for the territory.
  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations and other sales actions.
  • Occasionally travel and attend sales events, exhibits, and trade shows.

Your Profile

  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Robust Contact Relationship Management systems skills required.
  • Extremely comfortable with high level computer use in multiple programs, simultaneously
  • Strong problem recognition and resolution skills.
  • Aptitude for working both as team member and individual contributor.
  • Sales meeting management (scheduling, agendas, actionable item identification, follow up).
  • Project and timeline management skills for development and sale of new products.
  • Professional presentation development and delivery through concise written and visual representations
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business and/or science
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in an Account Manager role with experience in contact/lead management is required
  • Specific experience in the pet industry and management of companion animal accounts required
  • Strong analytical / P&L experience
