£40,000 + Bonus
Are you a dynamic, results-driven individual with a passion for driving business growth? We are currently seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join the team at a leading manufacturing company within the building supplies sector based in Leeds. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth.

Duties of a Business Development Manager:
- Identify new business opportunities, untapped markets, and emerging trends in building supplies industry. Develop strategies and action plans to penetrate these markets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and forge strategic partnerships with builders, contractors, architects, and suppliers to enhance the product reach and market penetration. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of partnerships and maximise business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximise profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Providing regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
- Managing a sales pipeline, tracking leads, and effectively prioritising sales activities.
Requirements for a Business Development Manager:
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the building supplies industry or a related field.
- Strong network of industry contacts and existing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop effective action plans.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as needed.
