Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities
As a Digital Learning Executive within our corporate structure, you will play a crucial role in developing and designing engaging, interactive, and effective digital learning experiences. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and stakeholders to create innovative and learner-centered digital learning solutions.
Experience, Technical Skills & Knowledge
Design and Develop Digital Learning Content:
- Utilize instructional design principles to design and develop digital learning content, including e-learning modules, interactive courses, microlearning units, and multimedia presentations.
- Create engaging and visually appealing learning materials using a variety of digital tools, multimedia elements, and interactivities.
- Incorporate gamification, simulations, and other interactive elements to enhance learner engagement and retention.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Instructional Designers:
- Work closely with SMEs and Digital Learning Manager to gather content, identify learning objectives, and define target audience needs.
- Translate complex concepts and information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand digital learning materials.
- Collaborate on instructional strategies, assessments, and activities to ensure effective learning experiences.
Leverage Learning Technologies and Tools:
- Stay updated on emerging learning technologies, trends, and best practices in digital learning design.
- Utilize authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), multimedia editing software, and other relevant digital tools to create and deliver high-quality digital learning content.
- Ensure compatibility, accessibility, and responsiveness of digital learning materials across various devices and platforms.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Conduct quality assurance checks and testing of digital learning materials to ensure accuracy, functionality, and usability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Seek feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously enhance the effectiveness of the digital learning materials.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Manage and support multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality digital learning content within defined timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of digital learning initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience of 2 years as a Digital Learning Designer, e-Learning Developer, or similar role is a plus.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Strong knowledge of digital learning technologies, authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia editing software.
- Experience in designing and developing interactive and engaging e-learning modules or courses.
- Excellent visual design skills, with the ability to create visually appealing and impactful learning materials.
- Proficient in using multimedia elements, such as graphics, audio, video, and animations, to enhance learning experiences.
- Familiarity with SCORM or other e-learning standards and specifications.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
