Production Operations Coordinator

Description of the job
We are seeking a Production Officer for our Karachi-based customer in the chemical manufacturing sector.

Requirements include a BSc or B Tech in Chemistry or a related field and one to two years of production-related experience (Operations, Repair and Maintenance, HSE, QMS).

Job Description: Tasks and Accountabilities

Production Operation: Help the production manager run the factory to meet production goals and targets in every department of the company. Make sure the system or machine is operational by checking it. Plan, arrange, and carry out production tasks in collaboration with the team. Gather the directions and information needed from the previous shift to ensure activities function smoothly. Verify the amount of raw materials before putting them in the containers. Notify the manager or superiors right away if you discover any procedure deviations.or an anomaly in the machines’ condition. Consult your superiors before taking any necessary remedial action.

Repair and Maintenance: Make sure the equipment is operating by requesting repairs and assessing new tools and methods. As soon as you see any wear and tear or maintenance requirements for the production plant or equipment, notify the management.
Safety, health, and the environment: Make sure that the rules and guidelines established by management are strictly followed. While planning the daily tasks, keep the laboratory neat and organized.
System of Quality Management:

Carry out tasks associated with the plant’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2004). Make recommendations for process enhancements to raise production capacity and quality. While upholding quality standards, suggest cost-cutting measures to the production manager.
