- Your day-to-day
- Ensure Buyers are obtained 3 quotations for every purchases from the most competent resources i.e. Manufacturer, Agent, Wholesaler, Contract Rate, Must Contact List.
- Ensure Purchase Requests are filed in vendor file with 3 quotations, LPO and other supporting documents with Material Managers approval for audit purpose.
- Obtain Pending Order List from Materials Control System and investigate reason for delay and forward with comments to Purchasing/Materials Manager on a weekly basis.
- Provide constant and accurate information on market condition, seasonal product availability, price trend etc to the Materials/Purchasing Manager
- Co-ordinates with Purchasing Officer and carry-out departmental training as per schedule and ensure training records are kept in good condition for audit purpose.
- Ensure discussing pending purchase request status with Purchase Officer/Materials Manager for their awareness and guidance.
- Obtain Market List Pending items from Receiving Office and ensure all pending items are delivered to the hotel not later than 1.00pm the same day.
- Ensure all training needs are identified, carried out and documented in timely manner.
- Prepare Buyers Movement Register properly and documented movements to ensure the better control.
- Ensure carried out monthly market survey and reports are submitted to MM/PM for their review.
- Complies with the hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy.
