Overview of the role

The Quality Assurance and Change Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance and change department and direct and indirect staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes. She will also drive Business process impact and value delivery identification and tracking as well as communication strategies and plans for EIT Transformational projects.

What you will do

Designs, implements, and improves company quality standards

Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery

Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and third party vendors

Ensures that Quality management plans are created, updated and executed for all product deliveries (through projects or Agile PODs)

Coaches teams to a Quality-first mindset

Oversees that the full quality assurance process (including code reviews, artifact reviews and product testing processes) are executed appropriately and as per the agreed development / QA established approach

Ensures the Identification and analysis of defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues

Partner with the Project Management Office in the execution of project healthchecks including monitoring and controlling of key project budgets

Adapt the Business value / value realization strategy and plan to specific key projects and Agile PODs and coach, support and monitor it’s execution

Take active participation on Technology transformation programs and Lead the identification, classification, calculation method, baselining and monitoring of benefits/business value for EIT/Technology projects in alignment with senior EIT and Business managers

Establishes a Change Management practice, framework and process

Leads the Change Management function for key Transformation EIT projects/programs

Supports Program/Project management with impact assessments to existing business processes and establishes communication strategies and plans to facilitate adoption of technology solutions

Leadership & Resource Management

Effectively mobilize and manage project resources (manpower, equipment & material) and lead the team towards successful delivery

Allocate and assign work assignments to resources in conjunction with the Engineering Heads

Manage relationships with key implementation vendors on projects; optimize engagement and drive execution

Effective utilization of project team, mitigate team conflict and communication problems; motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner

Facilitate/Support the change management aspects by demonstrating high level of maturity & leadership skills

Actively drives EIT and key Technology communications and achievements, writes newsletters and articles for the AFG intranet

Required skills to be successful

10 years of experience in related field

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

About the team

The role will report to the Head of Program and Project Management & Delivery Operations

What equips you for the role

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field; Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum. Agile (Scrum/Safe) certification.

Solid experience in Change Management

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Proficient in MS Office
