Joining our team to contribute to managing the deployment and onward support and enhancement of Passenger Services System and its interfaces and data, we are looking for:
Senior Manager – PSS
Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will help in planning, deployment, and management of Passenger Services System (PSS).
You will
- closely interact with the selected solution provider
- be responsible for smooth system implementation and integration into current IT landscape
- communicate and coordinate with all internal stakeholders (scheduling, revenue management, pricing, sales, etc)
- maintain the system
- ensure that the system continuously adds value to the core and critical areas of Business
You should also understand and have an in-depth knowledge of overall PSS architecture and be responsible for designing and developing interfaces, data extraction processes and programs, planning and designing of systems around the core PSS etc. Understanding of airline reservation and departure control processes and work closely with Business on improvement of system processes. Innovation and resource optimization are some of the critical KRA’s (Key Result Areas).
Your Profile:
Ideally, you have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Master of Computer Applications or equivalent from a reputed University.
- Established industry credential for managing PSS environment for an Airline of repute.
- Minimum of 10 years of information technology work experience of which the last 5 years should be in managing a PSS platform.
- Experience in managing PSS vendors in terms of system support and future development.
- Experience in plan and design tools and solutions around the core PSS for addressing specific business requirements.
- Understanding of PNR data and data extraction / upload processes and managing system interfaces.
