Description and Requirements
As MBG, MEA B2B Sales Manager (B2B Solutions – Smartphones & Services Sales), reporting to the General Manager, MBG MEA you will identify new business opportunities in order to generate sales/revenue, improve profitability and grow Motorola B2B business, as part of a high-performance team, the leader in innovations and relevant brand as Motorola (Mobile Business Group from Lenovo).
Business development can be applied with a specific focus on Motorola B2B business (Smartphones & Services Sales), such as:
- Large Accounts
- Distributors & VAR (Value Added Resellers)
- SMB (Small Medium Business)
- Government
Your Responsibilities:
- You will research and identify new business opportunities (B2B Solutions – Smartphones & Services Sales)
- You will stablish solid relations with regional key Customers (Enterprise and Government)
- You will improve and nurture the relationship with Lenovo B2B sales structure in order to maximize the impact on Customers (End users and Partners)
- You will do a periodic analysis of Pipeline and Opportunities with the EMEA B2B Business Sales Leader
- You will do a periodic analysis of sell-in performance vs. forecast/quarterly plan with the EMEA B2B Business Sales Leader
- You will identify & implement initiatives to maximize mix, margin and overall product contribution to the portfolio & business
- You will ensure accurate forecasting for relevant products; co-owner (with Sales) for the country’s forecast
- You will collaborate with the Product team to identify the future needs of end-users
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of product and/or business management experience
- Strong & demonstrable commercial/customer understanding; extremely commercially astute
- Strong understanding of channel management or channel-based sales models
- Experience with technology products, ideally from Phone industry
- Strong influencer: able to convince a sales team
- Confident presenter: able to present ideas/strategies/products in a clear, concise, and convincing manner
- Good networking skills; facility in communicating across the company matrix
- Experience with customers/channel partners – confident to present & engage with
- Good analytical approach: be able to quickly draw conclusions from company data or market research
- Comfortable with financial management and P&Ls
