Hybrid working + uncapped commission/bonus – A unique opportunity to join an award-winning events supplier who work across a variety of sports, festivals, and outdoor events!

The Company

With an innovative and creative approach this specialist event supplier is one of the best in the business and is renowned for delivering high-performance festival bars and event solutions to a portfolio of some of the most impressive outdoor events across the country. With projects spanning from the Isle of Wight to Scotland they deliver a service which is second to none, encompassing full end to end delivery, production management of pop-up venues and activations and technology services.

They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and support in the pitching and development of event contracts for new and existing clients!

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be pitching for and winning event contracts to support the growth of the business, while managing a pipeline of clients, overseeing tender submissions, and generating new leads in the events industry.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on the sales process from start to finish
  • Generating new event leads
  • Pitching for and winning event contracts
  • Managing new and existing client relationships
  • Managing a pipeline of clients
  • Negotiating with prospects and clients
  • Creating risk assessments and commercial deals
  • Working closely with the finance and operational departments

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a positive, determined, and resilient mindset, with the ability to be confident and professional when liaising with clients. Client facing experience is essential, with a strong commercial mindset and experience working in the events industry within a sales or business development capacity.
