Job description: The RSK Group is one of Europe’s fastest growing environmental, geotechnical and contaminated land consultancies, with offices in the UK, Europe and the Gulf. It provides a range of services for a wide range of clients within the property, manufacturing, oil, gas and energy sector.
We are looking to recruit a Full-Time experienced Business Development Manager with the ability to specialise in the Healthcare Sector. You will be working with and assisting the Healthcare Business Development Director. We are flexible on location which can be hybrid/home working with majority of the time spent on the road engaging with prospective clients. A Full UK Driving Licence is needed for this role.
This is an opportunity to be playing a key role in growing RSK’S presence in this sector through the promotion of all our group services both individually and as teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying potential clients and acting as key point of contact for early client engagements
- Managing prospects and clients to maximise opportunity
- Supporting / leading tender and framework responses
- Converting prospective clients and maintaining client relationships
- Represent the group at industry trade bodies
- Manage marketing campaigns and work with appointed Direct Sales representative
- Promote effective engagement with clients, follow up with prospects and maintaining accurate records of all sales activities
- Assisting with the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
- Promote the offering and RSK Group at conferences and in the media
- Develop a strong network able to collaborate with teams from across RSK Group
- Promoting our solutions to potential clients
- Achieving ambitious sales targets
Person Specification:
- Preferred candidate would have existing and demonstrable healthcare sector experience, or passion to develop an understanding (inc. current / forthcoming issues affecting it)
- Good experience of BD, sales and marketing with proven track record of sales achievements
- Good commercial skillset with a proven record
- Knowledge of public sector frameworks preferable
- Good social skills, able to communicate effectively in large and small group settings
- Highly organised, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Tenacious and self-motivated
- Excellent presentation skills
- An ability to envision a problem-solving opportunity by linking two or more RSK services
- Strong communication skills to develop effective relationships with business leaders and key decision makers both externally with prospects, and internally across the RSK Group
- IT literacy, particularly in the Office 365 platform, is essential
- Willingness to travel including internationally
- Full driving licence
