Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Commission
Location: Surrey
We are working with a high-event event catering business located in Surrey, who are known for their inventive approach to food and creating outstanding events across London and the Home Counties. We are on the hunt for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team as they continue to expand.
About the role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business with venues and clients, continuously identifying new opportunities to build partnerships and drive forward the innovation and direction of the department. We are looking for someone confident, experienced, with a well-rounded knowledge of London Event Catering. This person will need to be able to manage their own pipeline and work independently and come with a black book of contacts to really hit the ground running.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience as a BDM or Head of Sales from a high-end London event caterer
- An excellent communicator and enjoys building new relationships
- Strong presentation, pitching and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of driving growth and tapping into new markets
- Ability to work independently and manage own diary and pipeline
- Proactive, flexible and a real team player
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
