The Company recruiting for the Business Development Manager:
A rare opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning success story of a company. The company has grown considerably over the 12 months and is now looking to strengthen its technology sales team further. Now in true scale up territory they are looking to expand their new business sales reach having outperformed sales targets over the last 3 years. They pride themselves on their unique software which enables clients to manage & streamline their own sales & marketing activities efficiently. They are looking for a proven new business development manager to join the business as they strive to the next stage of growth.
The Role of the Business Development Manager:
Joining as a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the full sales cycle and generating new logo business. Identifying, developing, and winning successful accounts you have the flexibility to target the wider corporate vertical sector. Reporting to the sales director, deal values can vary from £30k – £150k in this busy proactive sales role. Key responsibilities include:
- Building long term strategic relationships over the phone, via email and LinkedIn using a consultative sales approach
- Responsible for self-generating your own new business leads & sales pipeline
- Present solutions, book & deliver sales demos and facilitate meetings with prospective clients across multiple corporate sectors
- Be a brand ambassador for the company in all dealings with prospective clients

The Candidate for the Business Development Manager:
The successful candidate needs to be a driven, motivated, dynamic & proactive sales professional. You will have a real sales hunter mentality and driven by success, rewards and the recognitions that follow. To be successful in this role you will:
- Proven track record in new business sales ideally within the SaaS or technology sector
- Be extremely target & financially motivated
- Have a stable sales pedigree and the ability to demonstrate sales achievements to date
- Have a real passion for new business development and achieving sales targets
- Possess self-drive/motivation, career ambition and a real can-do attitude
The Package for the Business Development Manager:
·£50,000-£65,000 basic salary
·Double uncapped OTE
·Pension, Mobile, Laptop
·25 days holiday plus stats
Expected salary: £50000 – 65000 per year
