rradar has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to play a lead role in the continued expansion of our innovative business, working closely with the Head of Business Development and Marketing team.

About the role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients, across rradar’s full product and services range. There will be a strong focus on developing new partners to meet targets and growth ambitions in their territory (with the Northern territory covering Leicester and above).

About you:

The successful candidate will be experienced in building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, delivering against ambitious sales targets and developing new opportunities.

  • Strong track record and previous experience in a sales focused role within commercial insurance / commercial broking or sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of the commercial general insurance market preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and ability to confidently present and develop pitches for new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivation to work independently, sourcing new leads and opportunities as well as onboarding and managing new business through to live.
