Job description: A new opportunity for a Business Development Manager has arisen to join our client, an independent Freight Forwarding company located in Liverpool. This is a field-based role, covering the North West.
As the Business Development Manager, you will support the business with overall growth, helping to develop relationships with both new and existing customers.
You will generate new business / leads, negotiate / close opportunities and ensure the company’s business needs are met.
Other duties of the Business Development Manager:
- Work alongside the internal team to help ensure all clients’ needs are met.
- Ensure the CRM system is continuously kept up to date.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, overseas partners and internal teams.
The successful Business Development Manager will have strong Sales experience within the Air and Sea Freight Forwarding industry.
We are keen to hear from self-motivated individuals who have strong negotiating skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
