About the RoleAs a Senior Product Manager for Cirium Sky, you will be responsible for the value generated by the machine-readable surfaces through which aviation analytics is delivered, reporting to the VP of Product for Cirium Sky. You will contribute heavily to the strategy, vision, and roadmap with a focus on delivering aviation analytics for our customers. Your key responsibilities will be product discovery, setting the direction for delivery squads, and ensuring timely execution while ensuring that you are always presenting the voice of the customer internally. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely withTechnical & Architecture teams to ensure commercial viability of technically feasible solutions, with squad Product Owners to ensure value from delivery, andwith UX, Sales, and Customer Support team to ensure consistent customer experience across all surfaces. You must also providea deep knowledge of how our customers engage with our products to others.We are looking for a driven, innovative Senior Product Manager who is passionate about solving problems, both for our business and customers.If you want to be at the data heart of a world-leading aviation analytics business, then this is the role for you.About You:This is not your first product role. You have years of experience in product management. You have a proven track record of managing value and viability of solutions, preferably with technology powered products.You have solved complex problems. You are skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed. You are energized by complex issues and problems that require solutions, using sound judgement to assess risks and make informed decisions.You have driven new products to launch. You have demonstratedan understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery. You understand what it means to fail fast and innovate.You understand machine-to-machine communication. You understand the needs & trends of how systems communicate to each other, specifically specifications of interfaces such as APIs, Webhooks, Flat Files, and Databases. You understand the aviation market. You understand the needs & trends of airports, airlines, financial institutions, manufacturers and lessors and can dig deeper into new domains, as necessary. You can speak directly to customers to understand their problems and offer thought leadership within the industry. You can speak as the voice of the customer both internally and externally. You can drive collaboration. You can create an environment that enables individuals to be motivated and you are able to employ different motivational strategies for different people and situations. You’vedemonstratedthe ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship. You have a proven track record of delivering meaningful results for the business through collaboration with your teamYou are adept at making data driven decisions. By using data to uncover opportunities and understand what levers to pull to drive business results, you know how to measure the results of your work, test it with stakeholders, and understand its downstream effects. You have ample analytics skills. While you may or may not know how to code, you have the technical know-how to support yourself and your team. You use your technical context to make the best decision in the shortest amount of time. You understand design patterns and can create functional specs and wireframes.Responsibilities:Lead discovery work with minimal supervision collaborating with engineering, UX, sales, and wider product teams.Work closely with R&D teams to build prototypes and validate MVPs in the market.Work with key stakeholder in the business in aligning the strategic priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps across our product portfolio.Empower and set direction for cross functional team(s) on short-term tasks/near-term priorities.Qualifications and Education:Advanced degree in a technical or related field is desirable.Formal training in Product Management and/or Product Ownership is preferred, but not essential.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Experience in a mixture of product roles and interface development roles, preferably with technology powered products.A strong understanding of agile software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban is desirable.A sound understanding of the Aviation industry#LI-PL1 #LI-HybridAt Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions Group having diverse employees with different perspectives is key to creating innovative new products for our global customers.
