Job description: Data Management section has implemented Informatica Master Data Management suite and is looking for the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for the role of data architect whose responsibilities are not limited to below

  • Translating business requirements into databases, data warehouses, and data streams
  • Creating procedures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
  • Analyzing, planning, and defining data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data
  • Creating and implementing data management processes and procedures
  • Collaborating with other teams within the organization to devise and implement data strategies, build models, and assess shareholder needs and goals
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements

  • Management of Data Governance council
  • Management of Axon for data governance and making sure compliance with data classification, data privacy etc.,
  • Supporting Data Management section in areas of planning for improvement in data maturity.
  • Creating Plans and discussing with Data Management team for improving the data quality.
  • Onboarding of new departments under the Data Governance council with the improvement plans
  • Documenting all the business needs and obtaining necessary signatures from business.
  • Detailed Architecture models to be created, documented and continuously updated and at the end of the contract to hand over all the documentations.
  • Arranging meetings for Data Governance Council with agenda discussed with data management team.
  • Discussing the points and new proposals for Data Management and Data Quality and taking the inputs from the committee members and circulating the minutes of meeting with action points.
  • Coordination with Data Stewards and Data Business owners to identify and follow up on increasing the data quality.
  • Obtaining necessary approvals from the Committee head and following up with the data management team to establish the plan for implementation.
  • Monitoring and making sure for the KPIS defined by Data Governance council to have 100% Compliance.
  • Failing to adhere to KPIS not reaching the target will make vendor eligible for the penalty.

Skills

  • Certification from Informatica MDM
  • Togaf certification a must along with preferred DAMA certifications for data governance
  • Applied mathematics and statistics
  • Data visualization, data migration and data modeling
  • Relational database management systems
  • DBMS software, including SQL Server
  • Database and cloud computing design, architectures and data lakes
  • Hadoop technologies like Pig, Hive and MapReduce
  • Information management and data processing on multiple platforms
  • Agile methodologies and enterprise resource planning implementation
  • Machine learning, predictive modeling and natural language processing
  • Data mining and modeling tools
  • Programming languages, including Java, Python and C/C++, as well as unified modeling language
