– Job Purpose Summary The primary objective of the Digital Business Development Executive is to develop new customers. Operating in accordance with agreed annual sales targets as necessary to ensure effective and efficient use of all resources in order to provide an optimum level of service to clients. Attend Networking events that promote the company.
– The digital sales executive can also offer conventional uv printed labels and flexible products
should the opportunity arise but will primarily focus efforts on digital.
– Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
– Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
– Complete assigned daily telephone/ teams sales calls
– Attend customer meetings to gain requirements and present services
– Gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
– Present Group Digital services in a structured and professional manner
– Write client centric proposals to capture specific requirements and tailor customised solutions
– Maintain /develop relationships with existing customers in person, and via phone calls and emails
– Negotiate terms of business (in conjunction with directors) and closing sales
– Gather market and customer information and report back to Directors
– Liaise with operational staff to effectively resource requirements
– Record sales and client information on Microsoft Teams Report / CRM system
– Review own sales performance and meet or exceed targets
– Use the designated process for issuing sample material to customers, liaise with Technical Team on feedback from customer
– Attend team meeting and share best practice with colleagues
– Liaise with the Group Operations Director, Technical Team and/or Quality Assurance Manager on a regular basis, identifying problems and variations and providing solutions and corrective actions.
– Attend and actively participate in quarterly on site sales meetings.
– Achieve a weekly target of at least 15 new business telephone calls
– Achieve a weekly target of at least 10 personal visits to clients / new business targets and or visits to the company site.
