Job DescriptionOur client is a specialist premium flooring contractor and we are recruiting a UAE experienced sales manager from the flooring industry to join their Dubai team.The role is responsible for new business development of premium quality floors with retail customers and architects, interior fit out contractors, consultants and design studios.Role SummaryBuild and maintain strong relationships with architects and designers; identify potential leads and close sales prospects to consistently meet and/or exceed sales goals and profit margins.Preparation and presentation of sales proposals, RFQs and RFPs, sales forecasting.Work closely with the project team and clients until contract handover.Network at trade events and exhibitions.Mandatory Skills & Experience Required7 – 10 years’ experience in interior fit out / floor specification sales for high-end commercial and residential projects.Experience of preparing tenders and cost estimates for premium quality engineered wood flooring and luxury vinyl tiles for turnkey installations is mandatory.Strong background in cold calling, industry networking and referral marketing and worked in a high revenue client acquisition role in the UAE.Strong commercial and financial acumen with effective negotiation skills.UAE driving license is mandatory.Candidate ProfileCurrently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.Fluency in English is mandatory.Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with residential confidently and commercial clients, contractors and suppliers.EducationBachelor’s DegreeRequirements7 – 10 years’ experience in interior fit out / floor specification sales for high end commercial and residential projects.
