Role overview:
As German Speaking Global Business Development Manager, you will actively contribute to the Publisher New Business for Kelkoo.
You will be responsible for traffic acquisition launching and developing new partnerships with publishers and growing their traffic. You will contact new prospects, present our commercial offering, and support them to start and scale revenue integrating Kelkoo monetization solution.
This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant difference to the growth of Kelkoo Group globally and become a key member of the team.
Accountabilities and Deliverables:
- Identifying new business opportunities in terms of publishers for Kelkoo Offering
- Contact new prospects to understand their needs and propose Kelkoo monetization solutions
- Qualify leads, progress through the sales cycle from research to delivering traffic
- Implement and maintain Kelkoo’s CRM system, Salesforce
- Adopt and use at high level of efficiency Kelkoo tools and platforms
- Negotiate commercial terms, manage and close deals
- Take a proactive approach to publisher queries including finance and technical queries
- Launch new publishers to meet / exceed quarterly and yearly targets
- Work with the Sales team and other key stakeholders on traffic management
- Represent Kelkoo Group at conferences and trade shows
- Provide feedback to our Product and Marketing teams on market demands and growth opportunities
Previous Experience/Skills required:
- 2 – 4 years of business development experience
- Experience in performance marketing / affiliate marketing preferred
- Good standard of academic achievement
- Business professional level of German and English (additional European Languages are a plus!)
Person Specification/Competencies:
- Knowledge of the affiliate marketing industry
- Experience communicating effectively internally and externally via Zoom, email and face-to-face
- Work independently
- Be flexible and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fast learner with strong team orientation and positive attitude
- Commercial acumen with high level of attention to details
- Sales mindset, seeking continuously new opportunities
- Able to network and develop key relationships
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Basic knowledge of CRM system like Salesforce required
