Qualification:
- B.Sc / B.E Mechanical Engineering from PEC Registered Institution
Experience:
- Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, fertilizer, chemical or petrochemical industry
Skills:
Candidate should have sound knowledge and hands on experience of maintenance of industrial engines and reciprocating gas compressors (multistage – double acting).
Should have good troubleshooting skills for engines, compressor and workshop equipment.
Experience on Waukesha/CAT/Perkins/AJAX/Cummins Gas/Diesel Gen-Sets will be preferred.
Should have sufficient knowledge of industrial codes/standards and HSE practices.
Should posses good interpersonal skills.
Should be capable to manage inventory for routine and scheduled services.
Well conversant with CMMS based maintenance system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordination with other departments for execution of jobs.
- Preparation of task list and gantt chart for jobs (Major/Top overhauling for all fields).
- Initiation of indents and manage inventory as per jobs.
- Keep the management updated about execution of jobs which need shut down.
Execute the work safely and follow the Company policies and procedures.
Compliance to PPEs and PTW system.
Prepare the maintenance budget for top and major overhauling, revenue & capital expenditure.
Evaluate the consumption v/s actual budget and forecast for next fiscal year.
Keep the record of transactions with stores, material transfer & transportation.
Perform routine services of engines & compressor.
Review of safe operation practices and managing the proper operation of sour & residual gas compressor stations.
Planning & designing of major replacement & modification of existing engines & compressors.
Implementation on actual plan & monitor the progress of project.
Maintain the data of project and recommended spare part list.
Preparation of audits and inspections of 3rd party auditor of inspector.
Preparation of daily, monthly, major jobs including KPI reports.
