The Restaurant and Bar Marketing Manager sets and executes the media / marketing strategy for restaurants and bars.

In conjugation with the Restaurant General Managers, Director of Marketing, Senior Director of PR, and Director of Food and Beverage, the Restaurant and Bar Marketing Manager plays an integral role in the development and execution of the Restaurants and Bars annual strategic marketing plan comprised of public relations, social media, and marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives. Through strategic thinking and execution, increase awareness and visibility of the outlets and its food and beverage offerings and team, the Restaurant & Bar Marketing Manager also contributes to driving traffic and revenues.

Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach includes five outlets options – from the beachfront Sea Fu restaurant to the rooftop Mercury Lounge, and it includes 237 Dubai luxury hotel rooms – including 49 suites – subtle Arabic design motifs blend with cool, contemporary style, featuring soft backgrounds of blue or green. Dubai is the second largest of the seven Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is located on the southern shore of the Arabian Gulf. Has a Sub- tropical, arid climate.

Restaurant Operations

Executes all key Restaurant and Bar Marketing initiatives as defined below

Develops annual R&B marketing strategy and action plan (per FS Guidelines), co-develop and execute business goals

Preserves brand and concept integrity in all elements of the marketing process

Design and implement innovative programs and campaigns that increase awareness of R&B, its offerings and dynamic team

Leads in R&B’s digital strategy with a proactive and creative approach to all available digital and electronic marketing platforms from planning to implementation and reporting.

Actively manages Four Seasons proprietary R&B websites, ensuring alignment with the R&B’s positioning and business objectives and creative storytelling

Ensure up-to-date information on partner and third-party websites

Oversee R&B online reputation management by monitoring and ensuring appropriate management of third-party review sites

Manage the restaurants’ databases, always striving to increase subscribers whilst remaining compliant with privacy laws, Four Seasons Privacy Policy as well as established internal policies and protocols for the creation and maintenance of “local mailing lists” and the use of Four Seasons’ platforms for marketing and promotional emails

Manages R&B social media channels, from strategy to content creation, daily channel management and reporting

Curating and creating relevant and engaging content, telling a story consistent with the outlets and Four Seasons while increasing following and engagement

Leverage social media channels to amplify key messages and activities, elevating the importance of search as well as strategic and creative communication

Illustrate the power and resulting impact of a strategic social presence through effective monitoring and evaluation tools

Pursue and coordinate social media influencer visits and utilize available programs to integrate proper User Generated Content

Monitor social media conversations relevant to industry, luxury, local, and International markets

Work closely with Restaurant GMs, Executive Chefs and Beverage Managers to identify and produce social media content opportunities and have presence at relative R&B events

Develop partnership/ sponsorship opportunities

Coordinate any promotional menus with the Executive Chef and Restaurant General Manager as well as beverage menus with Beverage Manager

Project manage each collateral item, including the negotiation of costs, a production timeline and the editing of each draft, and ensure final artwork is signed off by all required signees, prior to distribution

Coordination of F&B and R&B participation in corporate global campaigns

In partnership with PRD, coordinates and oversees any R&B related photo- and video shoots to ensure all R&B visual assets are in line with the FS brand standards

Maintains Hotel’s image library and video banks with related R&B content, and obtain all signed usage rights as needed

People Management

Maintains positive client and media relations

Plays a key role in reputation management, acting as a strategic communications advisor to management by keeping track of public attitudes, developing key messages and managing potential issues and organize responses

Participate in local R&B community and industry events, building a strong rapport city-wide

Attend internal meetings for R&B and will be actively involved in maintaining communication and promotional calendars

Maintain a harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors and all departments

Financial Management

Ensures R&B is meeting GOR

Control Restaurant Marketing Budget

Works closely with the Restaurant GMs and Executive Chefs to develop strategic annual marketing plans including promotional and marketing activities and calendars to feed relevant owned communication channels to stimulate revenue opportunities

Leads in R&B digital marketing included but not limited to PPC, SEO/SEM, and digital advertising and e-commerce (as needed) to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all activities

Track ROI and present monthly results of digital marketing and social media efforts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Ability to process relevant invoices and purchase orders, and maintain operational expenses for monthly expense management

Understands R&B marketplace; well-informed of market trends and user behaviors, including leading marketing strategies unique to this category and evaluating the competition’s marketing communications activities and implements change as dictated by market requirements

Is an ambassador of the Restaurant and Bar at all times, both inside and out into the community

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills, with a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set

Photography skills and an eye for aesthetic

Media relations experience

Demonstrated knowledge emerging trends and evolution of social media applications

Knowledge of production methods in graphic arts and collateral

Computer savvy with Microsoft Office and various design programs including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
