Job description: Job Summary:
Chalhoub will be launching a brand new, market leading Front Line Assessment Centre in Dubai. Based on the success of this program, it will be rolled out Regionally. This is an opportunity for top performing Senior Store Management or Area Retail Management colleagues to take on a Group role that will help define what ‘great’ looks like in our retail front line staff of the future.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be immersed in the recruitment process from day one and will be fully trained on all aspects of recruitment and selection to enable your success in this new role. You will support the TA Specialist to fill the positions across Retail through collaborating with the L&D and TA team to deliver a high quality Assessment Centre experience. You will be responsible to identify top Talent in the market, interview and assess them, and deliver a smooth candidate experience to all applicants whilst being an ambassador for the Chalhoub Brand. Responsibilities will include screening and interviewing, managing applications on the applicant tracking system and headhunting using tools such as LinkedIn, Gulf Talent and Bayt.com to name a few. You will work under high-pressure situations to deliver profiles to the business and assist in the facilitation of candidate assessment centers. This may also lead to recruiting positions across a wide range of functions from Sales, to Visual Merchandising, and Buying.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategical:
Develop the business plan of the Retail Recruitment Department in line with the Division objecves and strategic objecves of Chalhoub Formulate and communicate Retail Recruitment Department performance objecves and connuously monitor progress and alignment towards strategic objecves
Managerial:
Oversee the operaons of the Retail Recruitment Department, provide experse, encourage teamwork and facilitate related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and
staff pride in contribuon
Operational:
Oversee the Talent Acquision funcon by ensuring that:
Talent Acquision process is facilitated through the Applicant Tracking System
Recruiters aend Briefing Meengs within the correct me frame
All requisions are adversed on relevant channels in an opmized format
All applicaons are reviewed, screened and shortlisted within the SLA
All Talent Acquision metrics are within defined parameters including Time to Hire, Hiring Manager feedback and Agency usage.
Sourcing strategies and Talent Acquision campaigns are well managed
All Recruiters are sharing relevant and correct informaon to candidates about the Group.
Accurate records are maintained by recruiters on DRIVE for reporng purposes
High levels of Hiring Manager (HM) sasfacon measured via the HM sasfacon and the annual Support Services survey
A great candidate experience is provided
Recruiter usage on all tools is monitored and opmized: Applicant Tracking System, Linked In and other job boards
Ad hoc quality control checks on all operaonal aspects to ensure excellent performance
Handle own porolio of posions/job families and/or oversight on senior hiring
Collate, review and submit, on a monthly / annual basis, total posions launched and filled (internal,
external, cancelled), filterable by recruiter, business unit, job family as well as data around overall Time to Hire, Source Data, agency usage & spend, charge type and recruiter performance
Handle the monthly invoicing in a mely manner and upkeep billings’ records and business unit spends on a monthly and annual basis
Define, measure and review the effecveness of assessment methodology through specific analycs
Ensure the team is meeng defined SLAs / KPIs
Take ownership of assessment methodology and acvies including effecveness of tools
Parcipate in relevant projects and community acvies as and when needed
Keep abreast of market informaon and trends to ensure relevant talent is aracted
People Management:
Assign individual objecves for employee performance management purposes, manage performance,
empower staff, and provide formal and informal feedback in order to support professional
development and maximize performance
Your Profile:

- Retail background and an understanding of the luxury market
- Previous frontline/shop floor experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
