Job Responsibilities:
As a Purchasing Assistant you are responsible for all operational tasks for the purchasing process and providing support to the purchasing team.
You will be responsible for preparing the purchasing advice, ensuring an up-to-date stock file, order processing of purchase orders, production supervision and article and quality management.
You know exactly what the status of the purchase orders is at any time of the day and ensure that everything is managed in the right direction.
Within your range of tasks you ensure the processing of all incoming purchase orders. You ensure that all purchase orders are booked and processed in the system. You support the department in developing quotations, prices and information from the supplier.
Job Requirements:
- You have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably within an (international) trading company;
- Experience in planning and making connections is a must
