Job description: We are looking for a Client Relationship / Business Development Manager to work for a fantastic growing company within the renewable energy sector.

Your primary responsibilities will be as follows:
Working alongside the Commercial Projects Manager and Strategic Accounts Director to build andmaintain relationships with key existing and potential customers
Working with the Projects Delivery Team to ensure alignment on project timings and developmentsbetween the company, the customers, and any local authorities where applicable
Keeping an up-to-date database/model of existing and potential customers and their HGV fleet sizes
Managing the roll-out of a new CRM system into the sales and relationship management workstreams
Working with the Head of Growth & Supply and the company Finance Team to ensure the latest
business forecasts accurately reflect our understanding of the market
Management of some key non-customer external relationships
You will report to the Head of Growth & Supply.
Experience and capabilities
Experience in customer-facing and/or business development roles, preferably in the areas of clean
energy, electricity, or fuels
Experience in working in or alongside technical teams who are focused on project delivery
Experience in managing external relationships, e.g. service and equipment providers
Experience in using industry-standard CRM systems to manage customer relationships
- Required Capabilities:
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
Demonstrable ability to build and maintain working relationships
Strong team-working ethos
Self-starting approach, flexible to the needs of the business
Willingness to adapt to new challenges and learn new skills
Good understanding and awareness of business risks and their mitigations
Geographical flexibility and ability to function safely and effectively in a rapid growth environment
Demonstrable experience in problem-solving and providing/implementing creative solutions to

The role includes:
Remote working where practicable; travel throughout the UK is required with occassional overnightstopovers
The role will require a roughly even split between working from home, travel throughout the UK toengage with customers and suppliers, and occasional days working from the offices incentral London and Daventry.
