The Executive Network Group are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager. Our client is a leading provider of building services, specialising in the provision of bespoke maintenance solutions to an impressive list of commercial clients across primarily the south of England. They are currently seeking an experienced and talented Business Development Manager to join their team.

The role:

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the business by selling the company’s high-quality maintenance contracts to new clients. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and will work with all levels of clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives and targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals within the FM space.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through to the close of the sale.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring they are satisfied with our services.
  • Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure that the maintenance services delivered to clients are of excellent quality.


  • Experience selling maintenance contracts within any service led industry is essential.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
