An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a leading event production company who specialise in designing, creating and delivering events across the UK. As Business Development Manager your main responsibility is to secure new clients and build relationships.
Main duties;
- Identify new corporate clients and build relationships
- Attend client meetings and lead the pitch process in order to win new business
- Liaise with the account management team to hand over secured clients
- Work closely with the marketing and event team
- Respond to client briefs
- Keep the internal CRM system up to date with relevant information
Requirements;
- Previous experience with B2B selling
- Confident when leading pitches to corporate clients face to face
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and other social media channels
- Knowledge of the events industry
- Passionate salesperson driven to exceed targets
