As they continue to expand their client base and global reach, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their growing team.
Role Overview:As a Business Development Manager (BDM) within the FX payments industry, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and nurturing client relationships. You will play a key role in expanding our client’s market presence and driving the adoption of their FX payment solutions.
Responsibilities: * New Business Development:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients in target markets and industries.
- Proactively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their FX payment needs and present tailored solutions.
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with financial institutions, payment processors, and other relevant players in the FX payments ecosystem.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint value propositions, marketing initiatives, and co-selling opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Relationship Management:
- Nurture existing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing support.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities for growth and address any concerns or challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product and operations, to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of FX payment solutions.
- Revenue Growth and Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Monitor sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management.
- Continuously identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
- Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and emerging technologies in the FX payments space.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and differentiation strategies.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role within the financial industry, preferably in FX payments or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, cross-border payments, and international business transactions.
- Demonstrated success in driving new business acquisition and developing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
