Job description: Are you an experienced Customer Manager? Do you have experience of being the first point of contact for new business and developing new client relationships as well as maintaining existing ones? Do you have experience of Business Development? Have you previously worked as a Sales Manager?
If it is a yes to any of the above, our client based in Winchester is looking for an experienced Manager who will be responsible for capturing new opportunities, supporting opportunity management from infancy through to tender submission.
As part of this position you will be responsible for coordinating and leading all business development activities. You will act as the first point of contact for all new business opportunities and identify, pursue, and capture new client relationships in line with agreed strategic objectives. You will be required to contribute directly to business growth through identifying, qualifying, and closing significant deals, bringing in additional internal stakeholders as required. You will have overall responsibility for coordination of pre-sales activities as well as owning and managing existing client relationships.
You will also be required to collect, analyse, and present intelligence on market sectors, clients, and competitors to support tendering marketing and sales activity throughout the year.
You must be able to demonstrate experience of developing and maintaining relationships, preparing presentations, networking, report writing, have experience of sales and tending, proven track record of business wins and be able to work on a number of different tasks at the same time.
