Your Role

  • As a member of the HR team, you play an important role in implementing the HR priorities set.
  • You are responsible for coordinating and liaising between the company and Government organizations / authorities and provide a key inter-face between the two.
  • Your responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, being part of setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good
  • understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

A Typical Day

Support HR business partner MENCA in delivery of the HR strategy through effective execution of key projects across the HR spectrum

HR Administration (Electrolux General Trading and other countries)

  • On-board new joiners / off-board employees – coordinate between HRS, candidate, payroll team and local partners for new legal entity in UAE, and for other countries
  • Prepare HR documents according to the standard templates – job offers, promotion letters, End of Service calculations etc. To be able to prepare the documents according to the company C&B policies & internal equity.
  • Partner with the HR Services organization to identify and lead continuous process and service improvement solutions
  • Partner with organizations supporting consultancy contracts in other countries within MENCA (Ghana, Kenya, KSA, Jordan, etc)

HR Communication (MENCA)

  • Prepare Communication related to standard HR processes

Talent Acquisition (Electrolux General Trading and other countries)

  • Partner team in recruitment for specialist position – work together with Talent Acquisition, HR BP and line manager for new UAE Entity and associates located out of the UAE
  • Work with TA and HR BP on Business Learners Program – preparing talent pool and organizing students event, being a part of Career fairs, monitor progress & interim presentations

Talent Management, Training & Development(MENCA)

  • Work with HR BP on implementation and delivery of employee development programs and talent management processes
  • Creating and administrating employee training programs to improve job performance and company culture
  • Partner with team members to determine how to measure the value and impact of activities
  • Monitor metrics to measure impact of development activities other metrics that will measure the effectiveness of the function to the business

HR Priorities:

  • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event, be part of CSR activities, be part of engagement activities, lead some ad hoc HR projects etc)

Who You Are?

  • You have 5-7 years’ experience in HR generalist or Junior HR BPwith experience in Talent Management or Training
  • Strong background of the U.A.E. Labor law
  • Good analytical skills, working with figures and data, ability to understand business
  • Ability to prioritize actions, ownership, solution driven mindset, structured approach
  • Accuracy to the details
  • Effective interpersonal skills to successfully work with local government agencies and with business
  • You are self-driven, passionate, and eager to learn
  • Ability to build relationship based on trust, contribute to building the atmosphere of cooperation and efficiency in the team
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor or MD in HR, Business Management, will be preferred options
