As a key part of Transaction Banking, our Escrow Solutions team plays a critical role in enabling our Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking clients to manage credit, performance, legal, regulatory and financial risks inherent in strategic transactions. We’re looking for a growth oriented and experienced leader to help us expand our escrow solutions both externally and internally. This is a high-growth business with an exciting opportunity to lead and grow our regional franchise in UK, Europe, US and Africa markets.

Responsibilities

Strategy

As the Senior Escrow Solutions Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping our global escrow solution product strategy, building a robust and sustainable business, and providing inputs, new product constructs, and offerings from time to time.

You will also help position SCB’s brand recall in the escrow solutions business and represent the Bank at conferences and events. You will develop “Go to market” materials such as pitchbooks, industry credentials, and product collaterals for the region, establishing SCB as a house brand for corporates, strategic investors, and intermediaries.

Business

You will work closely with origination partners from client coverage and other product areas to commercialize and grow the escrow and account bank product set across the UK, Europe, Africa and US markets.

To aid lead generation, you will develop and manage relationships with internal business and referral conduits and orchestrate third-party partnerships where needed to facilitate franchise growth. You will also develop tailored mechanisms to seek periodic client feedback.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a cross-section of stakeholder groups to execute the escrow product strategy, foster a good team culture within the Escrow Services team, and drive our key differentiator around product execution and service delivery.

Governance and Risk Management

Execute deals within the framework of deal review policy, cash pricing guidelines, and the operating model of the product. You will ensure basic housekeeping around revenues, financials, volumes, and client-facing documentation are maintained.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

You will understand product programme, and related country agendas, and apply boundary criteria while qualifying opportunities and structuring deals.

As the leader of the role, you will be expected to display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. You must take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory

Qualifications

  • Graduate with relevant experience is needed.
  • Candidate should be ideally already based in UK

  • Knowledge of Deposits and payment products
  • Structuring payment workflows and negotiation of contractual documents
  • Opportunity spotting, pitching
  • Good communication skills both written and spoken
