Position Project Manager – Infrastructure

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the management and leadership of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Role In this role, you are required to lead a team responsible for managing all technical aspect of the project including technical interfaces with third party assets and surrounding packages, stakeholder management, programme management, testing and commissioning, liaising with authorities, integration of works with adjoining packages, oversight of an array of public realm buildings, excellent skills in confidentially presenting and controlling technical matters. You are required to act as a focal point between the team, consultants, and the Construction Contractor(s), ensuring the desired project objectives are delivered. You must have adequate knowledge and information about the business and the project in order to make informed value-add decisions for both the Client and the Company.

Minimum Requirements The minimum requirements for this position are:

Bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering with mutli-discipline infrastructure experience ideally having a mix of contractor, PMC, and/or designer experience

Ideally a Chartered Engineer

15 years post qualification experience in Civil Engineering Project Management

Minimum last 5 years leading the Technical Management (Design/Engineering) of infrastructure projects

Must have worked on an array of Infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Project Management experience with a leading PMC

Dubai experience manadatory

Delegated Authority You will operate within the constraints of the particular contract for which you have been appointed.

Responsibilities You will be responsible for at least the following areas and duties in your role:

Coordinate the inputs of project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project

Assisaing in change management on the project

Providing strategic planning advice in relation to the requirements for phasing of infrastructure works, the sequence of works and the necessary authority approval processes.

Apply quality management principles and processes, Quality Manager and wider quality team will report directly to the Technical Lead.

Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.

Providing technical input for offer requests and the awarding of infrastructure subcontracts.

In conjunction with the Technical Director and Senior Project Managers, Manage and resolve site planning and coordination issues.

Manage/Coordinate technical meetings with various internal and external parties and project staff in a highly professional manner.

Manage the implementation of site-based approval protocols to ensure that the infrastructure is completed in accordance with the design, specification, and quality requirements.

Report on the progress of infrastructure works including the identification of “roadblock” items and recommendations for mitigation / solution and escalation.
